6. Recycling in the library- library strategic Plan Focus Group March 4th 10:45- where are the bins for aluminum and plastic in the lounges. Fill out comment cards downstairs.
7. Difficulties with commercial cardboard recycling- someone to report on what is going on in town

Event: Rain Barrel Making Workshop for the public | Tuesday, February 10
Please join the Madison County Green Coalition and the Huntsville Green Team for a rain barrel construction demonstration and talk on Tuesday, February the 10th at 11:00am. This presentation will take place at City Hall auditorium in downtown Huntsville and should last about an hour. No admission charge.

Event: Feb 2, 2009 Judging Arbor Day Posters
Hethalyn will be a judge at Arbor Day poster contest sponsored by Huntsville Operation Green Team. Fifteen elementary schools will be represented with close to a thousand posters. She'll be the one wearing the Green Coalition T-shirt. (Maybe we will be able to post some pictures...keep checking back.)
Event: Feb 3, 2009 at 11:00: Presenting award to honor local homeless woman
Feb. 3 11:00 AM The Coalition will present a gift along with the City's Award certificate to a local homeless woman in honor of her recycling efforts at the homeless camp. The press is to be there. (Members of the Coalition are invited to attend.)
